Re: First Competition

I agree that the turn in is the best part. Esp if your not competing but helping a friends team out (by helping I mean making sure they dont have to carry as much beer out at the end). The whole attitude shifts that 40 mins b4 turn in. :)

No offence to ya J&J but you have to much cool stuff to not get the U-Suck award. LOL

Re: Howdy

There are other alternatives by piecing equipment to avoid high costs. But I've learned that its easier to buy the right stuff the first time. Rather than dicking around with issues that might arise.

Do you smoke often? Or just build?

That looks awesome. That the kind of thing you'll see in the wealthier neighborhoods in a matter of years. Make a propane attachment for easier
/lazier people and send in for a patent.

Re: what do ya think?

It would have to be "honor system" based. I would say you have each competitor rate the task at their difficulty level. Then ask them why they chose what they did and why. It would also be important to list the tools/equipment used and the time it took. Granted I dont want it to be a massively time ...

Re: what do ya think?

The reasons for my voting choices: Knowing that the skill levels from members ranges from beginners to advanced metal workers its difficult for some of us to do an annual build or fications: ocus that much time/effort into one. New to the forum

Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum. Generally in these things we tell a bit about ourselves: Spent 7 years in the Marine Corps. I currently work at a manufacturing facility in Kansas City. I've been here for almost 5 years now. I also teach CCW/CCH on my free time. I really enjoy the shooting sports...
