Very nice. That should give you years of tasty food! What did you use, if anything, for a baffle above the fire box?
Thanks, and I didn't do anything for a baffle yet

Nice—-when are you going to fire it up?
I fired it up on Friday to season it..
On Saturday I smoked a whole chicken, ribs, and sausage..
It held temperatures good, a everything works like it should.

Pretty much done with everything, and getting ready for paint..
Ran out of flat bar so I made a temporary basket out of some old smoker grates, the basket is probably a little too big , but it'll do..

Very cool build. What are the dimensions of that tank? The grease drain is a very good idea. It will save so much clean up time.
The tank is 48" tall 24" wide

Typically 2 so you have options on a windy day. http://smokerbuilder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=110707#p110707 We always recommend two for an offset build but just one should be fine for a uds. The air is pulled down to the bottom thru an intake tube so no real affect of the wind blowing directly i...

I wanted to get a wider stance so I made some new feet from some 2x4 channel ...

I'm looking at your tank and it looks like it might make a good meat missile.
