You are a brave and fearless man to fit two briskets in there I will admit
They came out prefect, the trick is a pizza pan that was shaped to direct the heat up to the top of the chamber and reduce flow. Unfortunately it also made fire management a pain. Hence why I am now building a 120 gal.

Re: 120 Gal On Golf Cart Tires

Once the frame was all tacked together, it needed to pass rigorous testing. So I did what any responsible human would do. I had my friend sit on the frame with his feet on the axles for steering as I pushed him up and down the street. Once we stablished it was structurally sound, we needed to ensure...

Re: 120 Gal On Golf Cart Tires

For the base, I built a 6’ x 18” rectangle out of 2” square 3/16” thick tubing. The idea is the propane tank is approximately 69” long from the furthest points with each bell being approximately 4.5” deep. 120 Gal On Golf Cart Tires

Hey guys, long time lurker and occasional poster. This will be my second build, my first was a 100lb propane tank cook chamber with a 30 lb propane tank for the FB. It was an awesome learning experience on what to do and not to do with a build. This second build will be a 120 gallon propane tank on ...

Re: 100 lb Propane Tank Offset Build

Awesome build! The oversized firebox must really help with temp control in such a small pit. I built one as well, but I used an appropriately sized FB according to the calculator. Temp control is difficult because of the small volume of my FB. I’m going to rebuild the FB and oversize it. (though not...
