I use the harbour freight ones they are cheap and if used properly work just fine, when they are worn out throw away and buy another.

Baffle plate should be no thinner than 1/4, firebox should be roughly 1/3 the volume of the cook chamber. Oh take lots of pics or :nopic:

I put mine inside the pipe, used a spring for an exhaust pipe off a honda. I compressed the spring a little so it would hold the damper where I wanted it.

You will love if for 1/4 and it does 3/8 pretty good, deffinetly run it on 220v and give it clean dry air or it will eat tips.
