I always put my bp at the top edge of the fb to cookchamber opening, and the plate runs to the seem on at the other end, or if no bell then the same as fb to cc opening sq. Inches..... hope that helps

Heck, the house was a bonus, not every day you buy a house and get a rf smoker with it. a good fire and some cleanup, see how it performs, then season and get cookin.

That will be very handy to have around, imagine how fast you can cut a fire box out.......

For seasoned users, how does the flavor compare to that of a reverse flow ?, I have had a bit of others bbq the last few years and find it doesnt even compare to what my reverseflow makes... just curious.... nice job...

Howdy All, cooked some ribs yesterday on the yellow smoker. Gizmo, I did what you said on the fire and made it smaller, it worked out very well. The temp held at 240 where I wanted it, I did have to watch the fuel content a bit more but very acceptable. I do figure when it goes onto the concession t...

Thanks Bluecatfish, captbo, I guess I didnt put size down. The tank is 42 total length by 17.5 inches.. the firebox is 15.5 wide by 15 deep and 15 tall. Its a good little patio, will feed 20 to 30 with butts or briskets.will hold 4 to 5 racks of ribs.

Yes Puff, I have been using it on the last three builds and so farvit is working great, I do like the adhesion it has also. I bought a 100foot roll of it and was hoping it worked good.

Hello All, got the unit pretty much done now. Headed out now to take it apart, finish sanding out it, clean it up and paint it a custom black color. Finished product pics in a few hours..
