help with RF design
building my first RF. is there any minimum free air space at the end of the baffle? don't want to choke down air flow. i guess you follow the same dimensions (flew size, damper, ect.) as a offset smoker. of course the flew is at the other end.

its not a smoker but a lot of planning and work went into it. works really well, but theres things i would change on the next one.

help with counter balancing lid
hi all, new to forum. i'm doing a offset smoker build. using 20'' x 3/8 wall pipe. lid is 38 long and about 60 + lbs. looking for design help. i want to use the type that attaches to lid near hinges not sure the term for that style. thanks in advance for any help.

glad to be involved in newly found forum. i to live in the bay area. retired from sheet metal work, bought a plasma table and set up small shop. first related project was a rotisserie and currently working on 2 offset smokers in slow times. looking forward to any help your willing to give and sharin...
