I finished up the pit this past weekend! :beer: I burned it out also. I put on the rails, damper installed with a cool handle and made the fire box grate. It took awhile but well worth it. I just put the pit on there to get my tounge weight down and get some ideas. I already pressure washed it after i got the 4 layers of floor off. I plan to use POR on the frame and axles. It really suprised me on how it smoked! It got to temp about thirty minutes. The fire pipe and cooking chamber are 1/2" thick so once it got to temp it mantained all day. Theses little pits would be perfect on the patio. They will last forever being made out of 1/2". The pipe is 14". reverse flow. I built this one to pull around the house and take to familys when needed.

Thanks for the info Rick. I didn't even think about that. :oopssign:. The trailer is 3x6 so you won't be standing on it. Its sitting just at your waist. I still have to put a drain and little details like paint, I have the paint. I got excited and had to pull it out and fire her up. :exp:

Ok, i put the big smoker on hold till i get a axle and lttle things. I am thinking of totally redoing the trailer. So in the mean time my buddys and i said lets make a mini smoker and call it 2.0! Thats were i am heading on saturday. I need to look at tractor supply. They have what in need in the form of an axle but i was trying to do it on the cheap. I will purchase the axle, don't want to loose what i have! Thanks for the props AR_Senior. Oh the stack is 10" round.
