I went and got it, came with a full tank and some spools of steel. I'm going to use it for the general welding like the fire box and mounting the 500g tank, the trailer is a 06 16' tandom trailer seen in my profile pic. I know this thread is old but I came across this same welder for believe it or not the same price :exp: I have a question, would this be a good welder to say weld up a massive 500g RF smoker up on a 16ft trailer ? I was planing to do 1/4 plate on the fire box :ymsmug: or is this just not enough weld...

Thank you for the awesome feedback. I Made The Shelves With 1X1 Angle And There Is 6" Between The Top Of The Bottom Shelf And The Bottom Off The Top Shelf. I've always read a insulated firebox helps fuel consumption,faster recovery and easier temp control. I have only seen one reverse flow here in Austin,Tx but the guy said the same thing I just spoke of. I kinda want to insulate my box when I finally build, is it really not necessary using 1/4 plate c...

Why not use a 2" ceramic insulation a lot lighter in weight and will most likely help your fire management.
