Re: Firebox Door Seal

Ok so "sealing" the firebox door (or a somewhat air tight seal) is not as important on the FB door...Like the CC door would be.. ??

Firebox Door Seal

I thought I read on here somewhere that the rope/rtv combo won't work on the fire box door???? (only on the CC door) If this is the case how are you all sealing your FB door??

Re: New to the forum, my first build.. questions

Another question guys... As far as the pit calc when you are calculating your chimney pipe it asks you for the pipe diameter.. Is that O.D. or I.D.?? My pipe is 4" OD but 3-1/2" ID... I'm pretty sure when we are talking about CC volume and FB volume we should be giving an ID measurement here...? Rig...

Re: First Build 81 Gal Patio Rig

Began working on the baffle plate yesterday... My original measurements of 16-1/2" wide ended up being too narrow... so I decided on a piece of 2" channel and welded the drain pipe to in... I will then split my 1/4" down the middle and angle it toward the channel... hope it works!
