Re: WHAT NOT TO DO!

Yes, some of those things we do are very funny.... after. I think that it would be a great idea to start a thread of "What Not To Do" Each Sub-Topic should have the main componant you are refering to.... Like "FireBox Door". That way it would be easy to scroll and find when searching. If its going t...

Re: Has Anyone Beveled Tuning Plates And Used Them In A Rev

If time permits today I'm going to grab the steel plate at a local scrap yard. They rebuild/modify alot of ships in the Miami port area. I'm told they have 1/4" coming in. Good score if it is. Just hope its not to thick.
Should my Baffle plate slope up away from FB end? I think I read 1"????

Has Anyone Beveled Tuning Plates And Used Them In A Rev Flow

Hi Smokers... Got some cuts completed on my 120Gal Reverse Flow. Planing out the CC now. Has Anyone Beveled Tuning Plates And Used Them In A Rev Flow? When the tuning plates are butted together it would act as one complete plate. Tuning plates would be different widths and give me the option to remo...

Re: Need idea for a welding table.

Before you go build log on to CraigsList! I just paid $1.25 a foot for 2" angle iron 1/4 thick. Guy was down sizing and I was real lucky and got his welder before he posted it . Hobart 175 with cart ,tank and regulator and misc "junk" for $375. some great deals out there.

120 Gal propane valve removal

Happy Saturday to all! I should be finished with burning off all the propane that was left in the tank today. Next step is to remove the valves. This is a 120 gal horizontal tank. Should i keep the weed burner that I used to burn off the fuel connected and open so I know that there is no pressure in...

120 gal Propane valves adaptors and propane removal

Good Morning Smokers!
First post! just joined.
Does anyone know the best way to get the approx 25gal of propane out of the tank. Is there adaptors to fill smaller 20# tanks or am I better off getting a adaptor and connecting it to the grill and burning it off?
Thanks
