Here is the deal my firebox measures 21.5 inches tall x17.5 long or deep it is a round chamber my cook chamber is 33inches long x 22 inches deep I have a chimney 18 in he's long with a 3 inch inner diameter I have no vents cut so the calculator is asking me how big my holes are . That's what I want ...

I went thru the entire stall process . Lol but all turned out fine . Kinda wierd it does that. Again thanks to all of you who had taken the time for the advise . I have learned a lot here the last few days.

Actually a 1.8 nozzle would be perfect for the rust oleum . If it acts like it don't want to spray add a little mineral spirits to it thin it down a bit and you'll be good to go 40 - 50 pounds pressure are yer right in there . Yep it did dc , which is over 500 degrees f. Lol ,, anyway , I'll get a new gauge soon and we will see what's going on. I believe it'll serve it's purpose anyway

Wood only no charcoal ,, it was red oak and I did load it up pretty good, the gauges I bought at lowes for $8 bucks a piece charbroil brand made where else.... China

Could it be a bad gauge or gauges there are 2 of em on there and the paint on there never did bubble

Anyway after I got some coals in there it held a perfect 250deg. Just what I wanted. Still have to make vents and make a damper but she is almost done.

I will get some inside pics for ya later this afternoon. I cranked up the heat to burn off the inside and the paint outside. The floor inside the cook chamber is just the side of on other drum tack welded in there. It was cheaper than buying steel .
