I need to know how to set up the counter weight on the door of my smoker. Any ideas or tricks?

Great Idea Solo. I wish that would work for my application but it wont. I thought about adding a warmer but have the smoke almost go full circle from the CC through the warmer. I don't know at this point, I'm still in the first stages so anything goes from this point on

OK thanks for your inputs. I am building a reverse flow with a 125 gallon D tank and was curious. I have done smaller ones before but not reverse flow. I know this thread is a year old but this is the same kinda build that I am doing... The propane tank is called a "D" tank.. It's a 125 gallon tank. I have a friend that works for Ferrellgas and got mine for free.. Nice build!

How far down do you guys run your stacks into the CC? Are they flush or do they run down to the the lowest grate..
