Re: First build. 130 Gallon. On my way to Smokeville!

IS this thing finished yet? I would love to have the firebox dimensions you used. I'm building the same thing and hope to have it finished by summer, it's been a year in the making...

Re: Counter weight

Thanks. I did something unorthodox and it works well and looks very similar to what you guys stated.. This project will not be finished until spring or when I get more cash on hand. I all I have left is the FB and the CC to deal with. I bought a trailer and got the tank for free and had most of the ...

Re: Stack...

Great Idea Solo. I wish that would work for my application but it wont. I thought about adding a warmer but have the smoke almost go full circle from the CC through the warmer. I don't know at this point, I'm still in the first stages so anything goes from this point on :D

Re: Stack...

OK thanks for your inputs. I am building a reverse flow with a 125 gallon D tank and was curious. I have done smaller ones before but not reverse flow. I have kicked around the center fed Idea for some time but already cut the whole on the end for the fire box... If knew how to upload a pic I would..

Re: 30 by 48 Patio Reverse flow build with one endbell left

I know this thread is a year old but this is the same kinda build that I am doing... The propane tank is called a "D" tank.. It's a 125 gallon tank. I have a friend that works for Ferrellgas and got mine for free.. Nice build!

Re: 80 Gallon Bid for Excellence

Thought about using a design close to this a few years ago. It's nice to see great minds think alike...
