Slow and steady progress. Framing the door takes time. I like to take it slow and let my welds cool before I take off the last vice. Finishing paint this weekend with wood inlay. Pics to follow! Then the pit will be all done and given to Dad on Tuesday 30June. Shortly after, we will have the celebratory cook.

Think of everything you use before, during and after a cook and then decide if it needs to be incorporated. Paper towel holder, bracket for remote thermometer, push bar on the front are things that come to mind. I assume you are going to put a deck of some sort on the shelf and the bottom of the ca...
