Got a good bit done on the smoker yesterday. First off was to finish the tuning plates; all that was left was to weld on a stop on the bottom sides to keep the hold down arm from turning. My spring handles came in, I ordered 5" stainless steel springs. Got some work done this weekend. I was able to get one side and the horizontal top insulated and covered yesterday, and then welded and ground out. Got the bottom of the horizontal insulated and got the plate put on; I have it tacked, haven't fully welded it out yet.
