Thanks for the reply. Did you somehow fasten it so that it did not slump/slide down between the inner and exterior plates. I see others have used slabs and they are rigid so they don’t have worry about it.

Are you set up to run 220v? Tho it will run off 110 you will find this to be a big restriction in welding capacities. My point is just remember that getting a new outlet installed is an added (but necessary) expense. Some run them off the cloths dryer outlet but a 220v/30amp extension cord is stupi...

Hi Cole awesome mini. I bought the plans for a mini but like you I want to add 6” in height. You had to increase the height of your stack. But did you increase it at the bottom at the 1/2” plate it at the top end. Also did you increase the size of the FB.
