Last night i measured, the wall thickness is 4 mm, or as you guys call it 3/16".
Think i'm going to trough with this tank...

Never thought about it that way...
It's sure not a vertical smoker!

On first glance...I don't see the firebox or chimney location on this cooker so I wonder where the heat source is. The warming cabinet is low too leading me to think that this is a gas fired cooker. I would think that a grate that much below centerline of the tank would reduce the baffle plate heig...

In most models, you can see the grates (and doors) until the vertical middle of the tank, sometimes you see a lower grate. and therefore the door lower then the vertical middle.
