Not Lucky, I set them up to use available Wire shelving sizes, three 21by 42 grates were $84 with shipping, fit perfect into 1by2 1/8th inch channel for tracks. Look nice, easy to clean.

Bottom feed back from sandblasting, I don't weld in the grate tracks until after blasting so it's easier for my guy to do a great job on the inside. Put in the tracks today,3 pull out 21 by 42 grates in anti tip tracks.

Re: 500 Gallon Center Feed- upgrade in process

I build a lot of centerfeed smokers and have found they don't follow the normal specs of rev or crossflow smokers as to size of fireboxes, stacks etc, they come up to temp easier, burn less wood and charcoal, use smaller fireboxes with longer burn times. basically they work like a free flow vertical ...

Re: 120 Gallon Bottom Feed Horizontal Smoker

Are you going to put a baffle plate above the fire to stop the direct heat? Rodcrafter, The waterpan/heat deflector is between the firebox and cc, it is wider and longer than opening into the tank, and the slide in wood/coal basket has 1 1/2 inches of air space all around it. These run a lot like a ...
