I know this is a super old post, but my question is about the Milwaukee metal saw as well.

Can you do plunge cuts with this to get your door cuts started? Or is that dangerous? What about cutting the end off a propane tank? Or should the cuts be started with a cutoff wheel first?

I was just looking for a ball-park figure.

Can you tell me the dimensions of your fire box? I am hoping to build a 200 gallon myself, I am just trying to get an idea of what I need for material.

So upon further investigation, it appears these are 454 litre tanks. (119 gallon) So I think if I were to cut one end of each and weld them together I would end up close to 200 gallon total.
