Thanks Guys ! How do you get your smoker up to temp ? Full air and wide open chimney ?

Definitely a sweet unit, really happy with how it came out. Just getting used to running it, getting it dialed in. Breaking it in as i write this. Just had to go back and order a longer stem door thermometer.

Will have to grab a few more pictures of it ......Got it all painted, today. Put all the hardware, door thermometer and ball valves on too. Just need the paint to cure, then I can put on the three door seal gaskets. Then a few paint touch ups, fire this BEAST Up !!

Got a coat of primer on her, today. i will give it a light sanding and paint it shortly

The beast is home The tractor could just pack it home, after removing a few pieces to lighten her up some lol. -11, snow covered ground, icy, pot holes made it a slow trip home too. Just need to get some paint on it, put a few parts back on. Then, fire it up.

The Beast should be ready, coming home tomorrow

The three doors are insulated. We bent two sheets of steel, on his break. Just going to order the castor wheels.

Looking awesome Latech15. Can you post a picture of outside of the firebox where the air intake pipe comes out, please. Love the cooking grates. Your insulation on the sides, is it 1 1/2" or 2" thick ?

BSS emailed me today, they will make me up a custom kit. I don't want the tie down rings. I want a different thermometer, one that is threaded.
