I am building my first smoker and I have the chamber complete and looking for advice on what size the firebox should be. The chamber is a 275 gallon tank.

I'm looking to build my first smoker and not sure on which gauge metal would be best to use. Looking at 48 in tall by 18.5 wide and 18.5 deep.
