Re: Found this bad boy on the job

Small world! I'm in SD right now working but when I'm home next time I'll be starting my new double pan GF build. I even picked up a new mig welder for the task lol.

Re: Found this bad boy on the job

Those are the best finds! I got a 30"x60"x3/8" for free on the job last year and built a reverse flow trailer smoker out of it.

Re: Hello

Welcome. You are in the right place. I'm starting my GF build soon using the double pan GF plans. From prior builds I definitely recommend purchasing if you are planning a build.

Re: Stump's Clone

Thanks Rodcrafter I'll definitely scour the threads and find that before I begin my build. KarateDoc do you plan on putting a door of any kind on your inset area?

Re: Stump's Clone

I can't wait to start mine after seeing yours come together so nicely. I like the addition of the CyberQ inset and the added Guru port. I'm thinking I'll definitely add that to my build! Looking great!

Re: Hi everybody

The UDS pic is the first smoker I ever built (with help from posts on here) and the 30"×60" pictured is my adaptation of the hybrid plans with one solid door so I can do whole hog if I ever get brave enough to try it. And lastly a pic of the first cook on th...

I'm new here also but I've been following these guys for years and have bought a couple of sets of plans from Smokerplans.net and won't build another smoker without the aid of them. They are invaluable when you think of the time (and $$) it takes to do things over twice (or ...
