Bunch of 3/4" holes, I have a video of it blowing out nice and even. It might be a problem but when the fan is really blowing it almost looks like a propane burner with flame coming out the holes.

Hind sight, don't put the drip tray so close to the transfer tubes. It does divert the smoke/heat very evenly though

I gotta order hardware now, this is coming together quicker then expected. I only get a couple hours here and there to work on it. Thankfully my Dad has time when I'm gone.

What about the chute and ash box? BBQ gasket includes the "fire black" as the best but it looks like it can only handle 800 degrees. That seems like it might be cutting it close there. But that is what is included in the kit for a gf on this site. Thoughts?

Has anyone used the 7/16" silicon tadpole gasket for the cook chamber? It looks like the only one I can order in a 12'+ length from BBQ gaskets.com. has anyone just used the 1/8" thick self stick one?
