I have a 2x2x4 diesel tank I want to use for a firebox. I'll have to cut it down to size.

My question is has anyone ever cut into a diesel tank before?
Would this be ok for me to use?
Would it effect the taste of the meat?

Im in need of a good bean recipe for my next cookoff. I have one that sounds good but I want to get a couple of them to make and see which one is better.

Hey guys I just picked up a 250 gallon propane tank for my smoker build. My question is how big should my fire box be?
I used the calculator but I'm not sure if my math is correct.

Length is 7'
Diameter is 2'6"
