Hows it going. Been a while since i have been on here but had a question about these plans. On dwg. No. Dv2-sa-14 it shows the interior wall sheet at being flush with the top of the cabinet. Racks are 18 by 15 and it burns about 6 lbs of lump at 275 in 8 hours

I run my mini (plans bought from this site) at 150 160 in the dead of summer all the time for bacon/jerky my custom built super mini i can maintain at 130 i know for sure but probably 120. Never tried. My super mini is harder to get above 325 than the mini i bought plans for though. It will get ther...

They are just welded to the sheet metal. I picked up the whole smoker by them to bolt the wheels on. Its 14 guage

Im in delwaware. I havent made the hitch mount yet because the little thing is very heavy. Im scared that if something happened and that thing comes off the back of the truck the 10 cars behind it will be totaled and people will be hurt. Cooked a couple tenderloins lastnight for a quick smoke. Everything worked great. Got a Couple more smokers iv started on. About half way done. Ran out of insulation

So here it is all done. Hopefully next week i will be able to post some q view. Tied up this week. Think its going to be a useful little smoker for when me and the wife want to smoke something for dinner for us and a few friends and not feed the whole neighborhood. And its not like my mini uses tons...

Well its finally at the paint shop. Got really busy with wedding stuff and some catering jobs the last couple months. But its finally getting painted!

Hooked the guru up to it Saturday and cooked 2 racks of ribs and a pretty good size pork but on it. still had one rack left for more food if I wanted. after it warmed up to 300 I filled the chute back up with charcoal and started the timer. ran it at 300 for a few hours then backed it down to about ...

Seemed ok. Dont have a ball valve on it yet or a guru on it so i got no clue how hot it got but i know it was plenty hot!! Next week should have it about done and il run it with the guru to get some burn time numbers

Yea still need an end plate for the tube and the drip strip. Still have some odds and ends to do. Anyone know of a small slam latch that i can mount front to back scince the door is the same width of the smoker? I was going to use toggle latches but slam latches look so much better

Got some more done the last 2 days. Doors are all welded up and smoothed out. Got them hung today. Gonna make some changes on the rest of them like lower the firebox assembly so i can make more space between the racks. Couple other little things

No problem. Building a mess of them as soon i make sure i dont have any issues with the first. Also designed a hitch mount that un pins and swings the smoker out away from the tailgate but thats later down the road.

i made the chute extend up a little higher just to get a little bit more capacity. The little fella doesn't hold much. maybe 5 lbs of charcoal if I had to guess. Im thinking after the first 4 are done (already have 4 fireboxes assemblies cut) I might drop the whole thing down so the heat transfer tu...
