is the opening to the outside air?

just be careful you dont get a build up of gas and make a "smoker bomb"

That's good. I'm getting ready to purchase one also. I'm waiting for tractor supply or rural king to put them on sale again. We don't have any farm and fleets around here and I don't think I saw the deal you got still online

actually my wife wants me to get one haha she has "projects" that she wants made lol ohboy right now I'm looking at either the Hobart 190 or 210 and the Hobart ac/dc stickmate lx 235 or just the Lincoln 210 MP... unless yall think id be better off with the two hobarts not sure which one to get first...

we used the pellet hopper that had a built in fan. I used Rockwool and the metal is 14g I think I need to add some more insulationin the bottom I measured wrong and built the inner box a tad to big and couldn't get it as insulated as I wanted to but still holds temps ok. just had a hard time getting...

Yea I'm no electrical guru. I love the pellet hopper but it just seems to small. We can run sometimes 100lbs + of sticks and logs. Would this post be better in the electrical smoker section? I was deviating on using 2 1500 watt elements and shutting one off once it gets to heat. I beleieve I need a ...

my current setup
