Just got an order for a double pan.. as promised in my last topic there will be some approvements and this build will be as much as possible made with machined parts. From base structure till sheet metal work.

Dialing in....checking the temps at 4 levels and I'm really excited by this results. Getting to 125 degree celsius took 1 hour.....now staying steady for the last 3 hours.....me very happy. Thanks....good tip about the swivle plate. 3 layers of coat and 1 treatment with oil later.....the highlights are from the oil....repeating this once in a while will make her shine more and more. After the last details....ready for a big cleanup and finally paint....3 layerd will do,and after that I'll give her a good oil treatment. Using owatrol oil. Thanks guys... will run the probes through a hole , covered by a small round piece of sheet metal that swivels around. Once the cables are through the hole, the little round plate can lock off the rest of the hole. I´ll make some pics tomorrow

Thnx tinspark,....but no , I used square tubing. Seems like c channels but, its the rolling line from fabrication you are looking at. Love my welding table, made it a bit higher then most do but I don't like to be bend over all the time. For bigger projects a step up is a solution..... Verstuurd van...

Made some progress today. . Cut the tubing, filled them up with insulation en started tag welding them Foor the inner sheet metal , I bended the sidesand the back in one piece. That had to be done very precise so everything would fit up. But it was worth the effort, two long bends instead off weldin...
