It actually holding up really good everywhere but the firebox. I sort of expected that though. I wiped down the firebox with boiled linseed oil since the clear started to fade away and it seems to be doing good now.hogaboomer wrote:How's the clear coat holding up, ntjones?
I'm having the same problem with the 75 gallon one I've been using. Yesterday I came up with the idea of using half charcoal/half wood, see if that helps keep a more stable low temp for a longer period.
