Thinking about converting a "proofer"

Will something like this work?

I plan to find something used/broken for this build but I wonder if i find some kind of warming oven can I assume it will handle 400F degrees?

any advice great appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that it could. I have a friend that has a pellet smoker and it's built out of really thin metal and it does alright.
