Mack mod

Post by Dirtyduck » October 21st, 2018, 10:22 am

Been lurking around the forum for a while and built the OG gravity feed a while back. Just bought the “Mack” plans and about to start cutting metal. 2 quick questions, looking to delete the warming chamber and would like some thoughts and also looking for the single point door latch as a kit. Thanks in advance... forum is loaded with useful advice from some great people...

Can’t help you with the latch much. I have seen the original MACK and the latch it had functioned nicely. Don’t even know if the part they sell is the same one as that. Latches get a lot of people worked up but really are not to difficult to design and fab up.

Deleting the warmer is fine. You can always add it on later but definitely do not need it.

Have fun with the build and, as always, we are here to help!

Yep, We do have the Latch kit in stock at HQ just have not had time to list it on the site yet. I think TheCzar and I can get that done in short order tho. Be watching SmokerPlans.net for the release...
