Pics of Cooker/Smoker build

Post by WOWBBQ » November 20th, 2018, 11:47 am

Here are some pics of my first Cooker/Smoker build. It started out with a 500 gal Anhydrous Ammonia tank which houses a cage rotisserie, then I added a grill with smoke towers which are out of 16" pipe, last I took an air tank from train car (I didn't take it off the car, it was scrapped :-)
I use this cooker for weddings/ graduations etc for cooking whole hogs (actually split in two down the spine) and whatever else we want to cook.
I have a cooker I built for competitions (KCBS and RMBBQA) events that I will share later.
Thanks for looking and I hope it gives you ideas for your next cooker build project.

That looks like a nice rig!
Are those dampers in the middle of your smoker stack? I would think they were a must to even out the left and right temps in the two chambers.

That is indeed awesome. :kewl:
