TQ's trailer build

Post by TuscaloosaQ » April 19th, 2012, 9:03 pm

Image

firebox and warmer

Image

TQ welding firebox

Image

TQ cutting opening's with plasma. I had to cut all the pieces yesterday with a metabo

Image

openings cut out and framed in with 3/4" key stock

Image

inside warmer this slide is for washing out to below firebox it will have a cleanout also. I can also borrow heat from firebox to if needed the warmer will also have a removeable charcoal basket
with several racks.

Image picture of slide very simple but it works

Image

OK Tyler did not goof off he is hammering down on his boat build, must say it looks pretty good I will be posting more pics got one more day off before going back to the refinery. My trailer build has to be ready in 3weeks I will be OK i hope

Rick when Tyler gets through with that boat, He ain't going to be able to afford brisket. He better be drawing some plans out for some paddles so he can get around!!!!!!

You know the front deck is big enough to mount a smoker and a fryer. You could get two things done at once then! ;)

Just be carfeuly flying across the water with that fryer going. :D

BBQ is just smoke and beers!
Usually more beers than smoke.

I like the way you think S1 - Sounds like the fryer needs a good cover for when you get out of the "no wake zone" :))

smokeone, I am starting to question my skill level, I was installing the door on my warmer today and after welding the hinges on I opened the door and thought" Pretty nice" well I decided to weld the inside of the hinges and opened the door man it opened so sweet. I welded the inside and went to close and I'll be D<>?D if I did not weld one side of the hinge and guess what it was on the opposite side I should have. I rolled up my tools and started cutting grass figure it was impossible to screw that up. I will post mpre pics soon of the build soon

don't normally put factory bought fenders on but added gussets if you bend these you will have to take a breath test to see if you are drunk or under the influence!!!!!!!

Image

just another view I like to build things different don't like nthe same look all the time. Yes the tongue could have been wrapped around. I have all the confidence that it will be there FOREVER!!!!!

Image

Tyler's boat is almost done. the cutout up front is so the trolling motor will be flush with the deck it helps your back. in front of the console there is a live wel,l he said he will paint the boat we will see

Image

before

Image

Image
