A little. It was unintentional.dacolson wrote:Looks awesome. Did you increase the space between grates from you last build?
It is 1” below center so the top of the rack is center.hogaboomer wrote:It looks like the bottom grate is a few inches below center, could just be camera angle. I've wondered about doing that, to get a little more space between grates. Everybody always says put it at center or 1 inch below center, but seems like a little lower shouldn't hurt too much. I haven't tried it yet.
It’s a weld. I didn’t have a threaded pipe so I welded it.Dirtytires wrote:What is the weld bead on the top of the brass ball valve for? Or is it not a weld, can’t really tell.

2nd powerstroke. I had a 7.3 for many years.Dirtytires wrote:Im on my third of the 250/350 diesels. If you have not owned one before, you are in for a treat. Definitely not the smoothest riding of the big 3 but they will work all day and never complain.
Congrats.
I will miss the 7.3, it was in the family for 17 of its 18 years.Dirtytires wrote: ↑August 16th, 2020, 1:13 pmI still miss my 7.3 and it’s been gone for 8 years now.
Does it still come with the rancho shocks from the factory? When they wear out in 5000 miles consider a nice set of bilstein or fox for it. It made a world of a difference in ride and I waited way too long to do it.
In the meantime, enjoy it!
