Nice grill!
Is that a cover on there or is it griddle plates? That would make a killer breakfast at comp!

It is a cover but I did make a griddle plate for a third of the grill and grates on the other 2/3.

Good grief, I see so much that I like,

The tank looks awesome moved up on the trailer.
The grill looks amazing.
and
The bread truck in the background looks like a future bbq rig on wheels, that drives.

Be careful with the fantastic stack. Just heard about a roadside rig just south of here,
For years he cooked at a local market and sun night would head home with the rig,

Once he was home, he saw on the news about the 30 something wild fires that started that same day. His trip was like 40 or 50 miles.

I guess after the assistance from the next counties, the investigators decided that the embers from the FB sucked thru the CC and out the stack, igniting the roadside all the way home.

He said he had never had a problem like such ever, wind much have been just right.

Yes, SmokerTom I thought about that stack also. But I do have a damper between the CC and FB and a damper In the stack. I think I will also make a sock for the top of the stack. Thanks for the comments and help. I the process of hot rodding the bread truck. Would make a good tow rig.

All great ideas...

The best precaution is to buy a large metal bucket with lid from the local farm store - scoop the remaining fuel/coals into that bucket so the rig is empty and haul the sealed bucket home with you if you have to. Contests provide hot coal barrels .... :)

TuscaloosaQ, I got the grill from Sams Club. It was on closeout $300.00. It is an 8 burner grill with stainless burners. I think the regular price is $399.00. I decided when I saw it that it would make a nice grill to accompany this smoker. Like I stated earlier I replaced one of the three cooking grate with a griddle plate. I think it will work out good.

:LG:

That plan is really taking shape. Your going to be very happy with this rig I bet. Are you going to build a cover over it? That is what I'm going to do to mine. I don't like having to try to tarp it and some times it too hot to tarp.

Keep up the good work!
