Firebox question

Post by Lagrange11 » May 31st, 2013, 3:42 pm

I'm getting ready to mount my firebox to my tank and I was wondering if the top of the firebox had to be even with the reverse flow plate? I would like to mount the firebox a little higher if I can.
Thanks for your help
Doug

I like the top to be even with the plate but I have gone as far as 3" up with no noticeable difference
