I bent the back frame member of the trailer the other day when using the backhoe to set the firebox. I got all the weight on that back member. Well long story short I cut it out and redesigned my cross members and doubled up the rear member and added two more so it should be much better now. Better to have the problem now then when it's welded down and on the way back from paint!!! Sorry no pics... Unusual for me. I guess since there are no pics my design flaw never happened!!!

I got the smoker welded to the repaired trailer. The inner part of the FB is done. I am getting sick of doing everything twice. A fully insulated smoker better be worth it. I hope to get it to powder coat early next week.

Question. I am thinking about using the foam insulation board between 1/8 plate for the warming cabinet. I want to keep it an inch thick. Is this a bad idea? Should I just use the roxul?

Regular foam will melt. Could you use the ridgid Roxul board? I beleive someone said it's available in several thicknesses… :-B

The chamber is close to being done. Finishing the skin makes it look way different.

I start the warming cab tomorrow. It will have a baffle plate and one inch drain for easy cleaning.
