I bought the two pieces through eastwood. They call it the heavy fabrication package. The 175 amp mig with a spool gun and the 60 plasma cutter they have had branded like the welder.

http://www.eastwood.com/versa-cut-60-plasma-cutter.html
I have not run the plasma yet but will be soon so Maybe I should do a review in the "welding" section on both tools.

So far the welder far surpasses my expectations for the money, and if the plasma is any place close it will be a great deal over all.

Here was the package deal on both pieces.

http://www.eastwood.com/versa-cut-60-an ... o-kit.html

Best part is they have a 3 year no BS warrantee on the stuff.

Will do that for sure. Have to finish repairing my jeep so I can be ready for winter and I have another cook coming up in two weeks, but I have to try the thing out if for nothing else just to do it.

I got them from McMaster Carr. They are a huge industrial supply house. Great prices and fast shipping.

I am thinking of switching to this style for more holding power, and ease of use.

I work for a plastic container manufacturing company and we use those clamps for lots of things.

This was the part number on the chamber

Did another cook on the "250" This weekend biggest load I have had in her yet.

98 lb whole hog
97 lb Steamship round
11 lb brisket
10 lb Boston butt
(2) 4 lb wild boar roasts.
imagejpeg_0 (2).jpg
Just about full.
Everything came out great. Once again I would like to thank the guys here for the advice and the pit calculator for making this rig run spot on.

One in each half. and one in the steamship. Plus the pit temp probe.

Good luck and enjoy the process. I am already designing a patio model for a friend and a smaller insulated gravity feed one for my self. If you need advice these guys are great. Use the calculator for sure I did and the cooker runs like a watch.

Have been drawing up the patio model based on my catering rig for my buddy who cooks with me. But we landed another cook so we have not had time to start cutting and welding yet.

Here was the roast this week end.

All done

200 lb pig for a fund raiser. Split in half and on the bottom rack
We cooked BBQ beans and au gratin potatoes for the fund raiser.

On the top shelf

2 13 pound briskets
2 9.5 lb pork butts

to pay the help.
