Big Pit project starts tonight!!!! Need dimensions of a 500 Gallon tank. Building trailer tonight, picking up tank tomorrow.

For a 500 gallon tank just plug 500 into the quadratic formula and divide by the number of people you are cooking for.
That will be the total cubic furlongs per fortnight. From there it's a piece of cake….

Usually 38 diameter by 126ish long with spherical ends. I have bought tanks with 41 diameter and 104 long and there are elliptical ends which change the length. Better measure it up to be sure.

Be easy on brother Jethro.... Don't want him falling off an I beam while reading this post and hanging big iron lol....
Problem is jethro no 2 tanks are created equal so there is no telling what the dimensions are. 38x120 is the most common tho

HELL YA, you guys were alot of help!!!! I couldnt find the fortnite button on my calculator, so I called the guy i'm getn it from. Its 36'x9'6". Trailer is built, gota text from him this mornin and the crane in the yard is down and waiting on parts from France, he said maybe tuesday!!! lets hope. Hey, and keep all thi info comin guys, It does help!!!! :beer:
