Cook Chamber Burnout

Post by BBsSmokeShack » March 29th, 2015, 2:30 pm

Hey Guys. Got my doors cut in my propane tank and I'm about to start putting everything together. Do I need to burn a fire inside the tank first? I'm going to have it sandblaster to remove paint. Don't want to get too hot and warp my door. Searched the forums and couldn't find anything except UDS with this question. Thanks.

If you're going to sandblast the inside too, you will just need to season it when the build is complete.

That's the route I was taking. Except sandblast, power wash and then season...
