While I only see the one photo, I know the exact smoker you are referring to that TQ and Tyler built. I can chime in with you on two fronts... I love square doors and TQ And Tyler are terrific people and mighty fine builders

I have plenty of expanded left so probably a grill. Unless you smoker geniuses have a better idea??

There's a lot of options, I first thought you were doing it like that to boil water or reserving the space for a future warming cabinet or or or
