Kingsmoke I have no problem sharing a full run down on how she fires.

Today I welded on the base for the second toggle clamp and installed the temp gauges. Now I think I'll tackle the shelf between the legs and the FB.

Here is what started it all. I guy dropped this tank off at my work to toss into the scrap bin. It was a Challenger well tank. It's nice when you start with the main part of a build for free. Photo taken May 30 2016

Heres the CC lid painted and guages and deluxe emblem installed. I also put the high heat gasket around the inside then a bead of high temperature RTV along the flange on the outside. Should seal just dandy.

I plan on firing this thing on the weekend. My wife is planning a big party on April 8th so need to have a few heat cycles completed before then. Q-View soon my friends !!

Its done. Finished the mounts for the butcher block plank and got it painted. Now its ready to fire. Q-View on the weekend will be pork butt!

I want to thank all of you for the tremendous support and guidance during this build. I am pretty proud of the finished Deluxe smoker....
