So my small town here in NY (Fleischmanns) population 350, is trying to revitalize itself from years of economic struggle. Next month were hosting a bbq cook off. "The great catskill mtn bbq fest" is what its called. Theres a facebook page, or just google it. Im just reaching out to see if anyone who lives within reason, and would like to come compete, or come see our beautiful region and enjoy some good festivities for the weekend..This is the second year of the event and it was a success last year. With some luck it can become something great. Thanks for listening.

The Big Papas smoker Im building now, number two of six, is almost done, and ready for trailer. Hopefully next friday well be firing that baby up for "Testing"

PS.. If anyone knows of someone who might be interested in event...Plz forward info...This is the only site I come to so im just throwing it out there.

That sounds like an awesome event ironworker433. Unfortunately, I'm over 2000 miles away and won't be able to make it.

Hopefully I'll be able to drag it to a gathering one of these days.
