[emoji106] thanks!Weldun wrote:You may have to clamp a small beam or c channel to pull that back down and then weld a flat bar on edge inside , might not hurt to put a little preload inward prior to welding so when you release the clamps on I beam or c channel your spring back will be compensated for.
We will give that a shot. [emoji106]Weldun wrote:I wouldn't over weld it, I would think 2" staggered stitches on 6" centers would be plenty.
BP stops 6" short of the end on the right side.BurnBern wrote:Hi awesome work so far and won't be to much longer and you'll be ready for smoking.
I was wondering if I've missed something I see you have welded the BP all the to the ends of your chamber without a gap at the end. How is your smoke and heat going to travel around your grates and out your stack if there is no opening for it at the end of your BP.
Sorry if I've missed something and I have no experience with building smokers except the one I'm busy with now.
Just make sure the gap CI is about the same size as the throat.behind bars bbq wrote:BP stops 6" short of the end on the right side.BurnBern wrote:Hi awesome work so far and won't be to much longer and you'll be ready for smoking.
