Soon! The plan is to play with fire this weekend then have a cookout for Oklahoma bedlam weekend( Saturday after thanksgiving) I'm planning to do ribs, pork butt(s) and a couple fatties. I just am not sure how much to cook per person coming
And on the eighth day God created barbecue …. because he DOES love us and he wants us to be happy.
Current smokers: Egor (trailered RF) and Easybake (tabletop pellet drive)
You guys ever feel like you work just to come home and work... It's been a long week, 62 hrs as of 4pm today... Home to eat and then back to the smoker...tomorrow another 10 at work.. I'm pooped but at least I'm ready to cook. Finished counter weights tonight and made baffle drain
Can you post a pic of the air inlets on the fire box. I think I need to steal this idea. Haven't seen this before and I like it! I'm also looking to use a crow bar that belonged to my father in law. Love to see how different things work for many purposes.
Doesn't the other end of the "C"-clamp get in the way of the fire on the other side?

Thanks. Stopped and got me 2 C clamps at Northern Tool today. $2.00 each. Thats just what I was looking for to make a pair of dampers for the fire box. the one I did doesnt work so good.
And no white smoke... First hour had a lot. This is my first time to run a smoker this size so I was worried about that
So far I started with a chimney full of kingsford in the center of about 5lbs of charcoal, added to splits at 1 hr mark and fixing to add two more...does that sound about right to you guys?
