The paint is rated for 900°F.....
Not for flames on the other side of the metal. Even tho the firebox temp did not go above 900°F, the surface temp if the metal did since it was in contact with the flame lol.
Paint will work fine on cook Chambers and UDS drums but not on fire boxes.....

well, as you can see from the pics above, it holds fairly well on anything but the firebox! LOL
