Thanks Rick, I tried just the silicone and it helped but I guess I have a bigger gap around my door then I thought.

It's hard to beat thick fluffy firerope for finding/filling gaps … :D

Just joined the forum and came across your build. Almost exactly what I would like to do. What dimensions are your tank? Can you post some updated pics including the inside? I would like to know more about the frame it sits on too. Looks like a great set up. How's it cook?

I like it! lets just say that the temps are fine... Learn to master the air flow and the temps will follow. i built my rig around the same tank

Quest... I see some build outs on the door. Are those for function or just looks? I am thinking about going with a counterweight to help manage the weight of the door. I see you managed to get two cook racks inside. What are the dimensions of the tank?
