I like the 140 so far. I would have loved to get the 211, but my plan is if I really need more ill just do multiple passes or stick-it.

Well I didn't get the firebox level with the CC, I guess because it was on a chain. Oh well it will still work.

Look at it this way, with the FB not level it will just make the ashes easier to scoop out!

Well I got a little done today. I got the door on with strap and door stop. I do have a question though. It seems as if my abition is getting ahead of me. I used those bullit hinges and I don't know what I did wrong, but the door wants to slide. Any ideas on how to fix this. I didn't realize until I thought everything was ok and welded the hinges all the way on :headwall: .

Well hope to get more done Saturday. I need to put the plate that goes on the end of the CC with the stack, then work on the inside and finally the door and air vents for the FB.

Not real clear on your statement that the door wants to slide. If it does what I think you mean the hinges may not be lined up straight with the door. If that is so the hinge that is out of alignment will probably have to be cut off, aligned and welded on again. Hope I am wrong.

The door will come of like when pulling the pin and taking a regular door off. I think I have figured a way to fix it. It works fine though.

I think you are saying you put both hinges going the same direction. Your not the first nor will you be the last to do that.

If it weren't for mistakes it wouldn't take so long to finish one of these cookers. Your in the right place.
