Today's little project. Beginning of my coal basket. I was battling my stick welder with this all day, but it worked out after some grinding [THUMBS UP SIGN]Image

I've had that happen to me as well but there is a much finer adjustment of output on that thinner stuff than the heavier plate and finding it might take more time than you really wanna spend

You made it look great

Make no mistake, there ain't no powder in this Puff ! And... I'm not really a crazy person but I play one in real life

I swapped sticks half way through. I was using 1/8 6013, then moved to 3/32. I was able to run the machine down a lot lower and still get good penetration.

Length of trailer is 84" and the smoker from FB to CC is 76". It is boxed steel frame. The tires are 165R15 with a small amount of dry rot around the rims. Those will have to be replaced.

The previous owner stated he carried his HD Ultraglide and gear. Those come in around 900lbs, so the current setup should be fine to carry the CC and FB.

The pipe is 1/8". Will that be okay for the chimney?

I am trying to decide on hinges for the CC and FB. What are the pro/cons of different style of hinges?

I like to make my own out of plate then use an 3/8" bolt as the pin with a lock nut so I can adjust it without it getting loose
