I would insert a tube to connect the bbq guru digiq the firebox.
What measures are necessary for the tube?

I have never used one, because some people that I respect their opinion told me the reaction time for the fan in the FB doesn't work with the temperature of the CC. So I would have to say on an offset I just throw a couple sticks in every 45 minutes and that is about all there is to it.

I took these fittings to be welded on the lid to attach the thermometers.
They are too long and I do not know the length of the thread of the thermometers.
Can you tell me what should be extended to allow the insertion of the locking nut do the thermometer?

The hinges are not functional.
I want to replace them with the kind of photo.
What material and thickness which they are suitable?

I could put the classic hinges weld on the outer edge of the door?
The edge hold up the weight?

I use 5/8'' round bar and I buy my pipe (bushings) from a local supply store and I have never had any issues.

Build looks good. Im starting on mine this week. How are are you putting you baffle plate from you bottom rack?
