looks right for the throat but the BP gap should be 3.3 to match.

62 / 18.875

I'm not a RF user but it's generally considered a good idea

I would definitely use the shadow plate/deflector.

i want to do a good job and don't have experience in this field so trying to take on your advise just second guessing myself , so today I cut the pieces for my FB and put in the heat defleter plate and end plate. Tomorrow I'll put in the bp and drain pipe.

Don't worry about the pictures being upside down, there has been several guys that never posted one the right way.

Just a thought on the upside down pictures. I have a cover on my I pad and apparently take a picture with it upside down. Didn’t know it mattered, it’s just easier for me to hold the device that way with the cover. It auto-orientats itself in my photo album but if I post the picture it shows up in the original upside down.

You can hit “preview” and it will let you see how the post will look. And for the sake of argument, it’s no big deal either way as we don’t care.

I went back to work and welded the end cap and got the chimney stub in , it's going to be 2 piece not sure if I will put a sleeve in the stub for the 2 nd piece to slid on or a small flange on outside, I flipped it around for better welding positions

I like to put an ash pan in mine and the vent bottom even with the top of the ash pan. And they are between 1” & 1-1/2” lip around it.
