finally starting to close in on this build

Image

TQ cutting doors. I use to cut them with a metabo, I have found it made no difference so from now on plasma here I come much much faster!!!!!!

Image

Image

baffle plate fitted on shop table the shims or 1/2 inch to give it a little slope. Is is neccessary???? It is what I do, if it is not let me know i am not locked into anything. The angle is 3" used it because i have a buch of it. Me and Tyler had a debate about it I thought it was too big he drew it out on the table and said Dad the effects would be "miniscule" he won that day

Image

next time I will weld the angle all the way out before installing

Image

We tacked the doors back in with small tacks that do not penetrate, then cut the tacks as neede and fit flat bar it seems to work for us

Image

Image

Image

plan coming together

Image

Tyler checking his door handles, cut template out of cardboard

Image

Image

Image

so far it all works, from now on we will be talking to Frank about dimensions, baffle placement, stack size ect. basically we just fit it together like we want, and we have been lucky I guess!!!!!!!!!

Image

while me were working, Sharon Ann was hitting it too!!!!

Image

And no she is not for loan, sale,or lease she is the hardest worker I have ever seen. And the best thing is she never moans, groans, or complains

Image

That dewalt is a Baaaad Boy!!!!!!

Image

Image

Tyler has given me one draw labeled "Dads Crap

cooker is on the trailer. I still lack a lot of detail work, drain ,floor paint, stack but I will hopefully finish by the weekend.
I have never used counter weights but I think I would like to. Someone give me some input, location in relationship to door. The void on the side wiil be cased in, of course.
